![]() The pins were changed to a longer number, but still readily accessible in the cafeteria to anyone who wants to look. The pin used to be the last four digits of the student Id number which is practically public info as the student Id is also the email address. It seemed we were burning through money at a fast rate before my school bucks but I had no way of checking it. My school bucks enabled me to see where the money was going and it clearly wasn't right. A few years prior a cashier was fired for telling everyone to sign up for free lunch, then it seemed there was a crackdown on that. It was 4th grade so I have a hard time believing it was accidental. This happened to us, another kid was using the pin somehow- or the cashier was helping the kid enter the wrong pin. I believe my children when they say they aren't buying double meals and I've told them if they really are, I need to know because otherwise, something strange is going on with their accounts.īefore I call school, has anyone else noticed something like this with their kids' accounts? I looked at my daughter's account and she also has the weird hamburger charge on 2 Fridays, one of them being a double entrée hamburger. He swears he isn't buying double breakfasts or double pizza. Some Fridays he was charged for two pizzas. I noticed some double charges, like two breakfast bagels/cream cheese for a total of $3.25 when a single breakfast is $1.75, and other strange irregularities, like being charged for hamburger or cheeseburgers on Friday, when I believe Fridays are only pizza or something that my son won't eat (PB&J biteable and a salad). He is allowed to buy breakfast if he wants, and pizza on Friday. ![]() My son's been burning through his My School Bucks account like wildfire so I took a look at his purchases, and it appears some of them are wrong.
